2010-11 Score Hockey box break #2

One of my favorite things to do while watching hockey is to open packs of cards. I opened 3 boxes of 2010-11 Score Hockey while watching the Blackhawks-Thrashers Game on Saturday night.

Results for Box #2

184 Base Cards – One day, I’m gonna own 500 copies of this card.

18 Hot Rookies – You are supposed to get 1 in every 2 packs, which I did.

33 Glossy Base Cards – Just like the regular base cards, but slippery

3 Glossy Hot Rookies – Since they look the same when put into a card page, I’ll use them to build my set.

1 20th Anniversary Parallel – The insert that no one asked for.

6 Playoff Heroes – Right now, the St. Louis Blues (Jaroslav Halak’s new team) are in first place in the league. And how are Les Canadiens doing?

3 Net Cam – Does this card make Jonathan Quick’s ass look fat?

2 Sudden Death – I got this one and Sidney Crosby, which I also got in my first box.

1 Franchise – I got Jonathan Toews again? It is sad when you get the same 1-per-box card TWICE.

But what is this…?

1 Hot Rookies Autograph – A second autograph in my second box? Cool. I guess these are also one per box.

But just like before, this box was also missing the Rookie Redemption. Anyone else shorted on this? If so, you have to go through a process with Panini, which you can start online here.

  1. Two autos in two boxes?? Lucky dog!

I am interested to know when you have finished sorting how many of the glossy cards were duplicates.

Of the two boxes I received, 23…that's right 23 of 72 (31%) glossy cards were double!

I also pulled six RCs in duplicate, which is not too much of a suprise since they come 18 to a box.

  2. Sorry…..I meant the Palmieri and now that you have two of them it looks like you may be more willing to part with one…
