2010-11 Artifacts Box Break #5

Not too long ago, I bought two more boxes of 2010-11 Artifacts.

Yes, I know that it is 2012, and that there is a 2011-12 Artifacts set. But I still really like last year’s set. I am missing numerous base cards, think the jersey cards in Artifacts are all right–and I plan on building the entire set (short prints, redemptions and all).

So, let’s take a look at this “retro” box of cards I bought:

29 Base Cards

Fortunately, I needed 13 of the 29 base cards for my set.

2 Artifacts Rookie Cards

Eric Tangradi 071 / 999 – Yay! I needed this one.

Brandon Yip 626 / 999 – Boo! I have this one.

1 Artifacts Stars

Drew Doughty 716 / 999 – Got this card in my very first box.

1 Artifacts Legends

Bobby Orr 726 / 999 – Another short print crossed off my want list.

1 Gold Parallel

Marian Gaborik 10 / 35 – I have no use for base parallels (though I wish this one was numbered 1 of 35 and not 10 of 35).

1 Rookie Redemption

#208 – Once redeemed, this will get me a rookie card of Kevin Shattenkirk.

Autofacts Autographs

Tyler Ennis–another Buffalo Sabres player? I pulled Sabres autographs in my first, second and third boxes of 10-11 Artifacts.

Jersey Cards

Tundra Tandems Ryan Miller & Derek Roy 54 / 75 – Sigh…more Buffalo Sabres.

Jason Spezza 143 / 150  – I get Jason Spezza jersey cards a lot. It’s true. So far, I got Spezza jersey cards in 2011-12 Upper Deck Series 1, 2010-11 Luxury Suite and 2009-10 Upper Deck Series 1.

Steve Stamkos Emerald Jersey Swatch & Patch combo 26 / 50 – One of the nicest jersey cards I’ve pulled in a while.

All these jersey cards (as well as the Yip RC, Doughty SP and Gaborik parallel) are for trade.

I hope to get my next box break posted in a day or so.

  1. Solid break Sal, the Stamkos is nice.

And the Gaborik is an eBay 1/1, so you got that going for you as well.
