Get Canucks Hockey Cards at Subway

Free 14-Card Set at Subway Restaurants in BC

If you like hockey cards, live in British Columbia and enjoy eating sandwiches, then you’ll definitely want to eat at your local Subway restaurant a bit more often over the next few weeks.

Starting on February 25 at some locations, and March 4 at the rest, participating Subway sandwich shops will be giving away packs of exclusive Vancouver Canucks cards made by Upper Deck. The promotion runs until March 29, 2019.

Purchase a “Canucks Meal Deal,” which is a sub/chips/drink combo, and get a free pack of Canucks hockey cards.

Each pack consists of two player cards, one game card, and a promotional ePack card. With 14 cards in the set, you’ll need to buy at least seven “Canucks Meal Deals,” assuming perfect collation, of course. Canucks rookie Elias Pettersson is a part of the set, so I guess getting a few doubles of him wouldn’t be the worst thing.

The cards look similar to Upper Deck Victory cards from past years.

The checklist is as follows:

Elias Pettersson
Brock Boeser
Bo Horvat
Jake Virtanen
Jay Beagle
Brandon Sutter
Ben Hutton
Sven Baertschi
Nikolay Goldobin
Erik Gudbranson
Antoine Roussel
Jacob Markstrom
Loui Eriksson
Fin (Mascot)

Only one pack of cards is given with each “Canucks Meal Deal,” and packs cannot be purchased individually. So, now might be the time to treat your friends to lunch. Or take your next date to a nearby Subway; at least until you get all 14 cards.
