My third pack rip of 1987-88 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards. This one involves a major kitchen appliance. And what to do with that gum?

The thing that strikes me as odd about these packs is that OPC generally oriented their cards the other way. When you opened an OPC pack, you saw the front of a card, not the back. Wax stains were normally on the front of an OPC and the gum should be stuck to the back of the last card.
I can't say I remember that from '87-88, but I'll go look at my doubles and see what I see. I was part of a group break of '87 OPC baseball and it was the same thing. Might have been a one-year thing.
Much better apparel in this video! This has been a fun series so far and I hope to see other sets featured. Maybe we can find some cheap wax at the National in a few weeks for future videos. For some reason Pro Set comes to mind.
In our house, if the dog doesn't eat it, we don't eat it. Because of that I haven't had Steak N Shake in over a decade. I don't think you were intending to eat any of the gum but I just wanted to throw that out there in case you were on the fence.
Nice break. One of my favorite years. Bought the complete set when it came out and also some random packs over the years left me with some dupes.

I recall buying a few of the same packs in the early 90's and unfortunately, the gum stuck card in one pack happened to be the Roy card. I was able to remove the gum with a little damage to the card…major bummer still!
