Saturday’s Trade Night was well-attended and a lot of fun.

Sal picked up some 1963-64 Parkhurst Hockey cards, including these beauties. Top Row (L-R): Terry Sawchuk, Frank Mahovlich, Eddie Shack. Bottom Row (L-R): Toe Blake, John Fergusson, Cesare Maniago.
Sal bought the four series of “Legends of Hockey” postcards that he needed to finish his set. (It was only five series, so this is 80% of the set right here.) These were sold at the Hockey Hall of Fame in the 1990s. The HHOF had a table at the show and had these postcard series for sale. They’re not cheap!

  1. Great show and summary of your trip to Toronto. Sounds as if you had a great time except for a few mistakes. It is best to use an airport shuttle to your hotel or a shuttle to a hotel then Uber from there or Uber all the way. I’m the fellow that gave you the Toews signed card. Thanks again for the T-shirt and nice to talk to you. Next time let’s connect and I will take you to dinner. I wish I were richer so I could send Tim to Toronto!

    1. John – thank you for the Toews autographed card!

I am planning on coming to the Spring Expo. I believe it will be in May. I’m going to try to come a day or two sooner to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame. And I’d love to get dinner!
