  1. Great show again boys. I too have always been high on O-Pee-Chee, more so than UD FLAGSHIP. I found it hard to complete set build the last few years. More and more shows only have high end graded cards and less for the set builders. I am always adapting or changing my collecting style because of price being number 1. I do collect BlackHawks team sets but limited them to O-Pee-Chee , Flagship, and recently started ParkHurst Champions. They are not “Set of Lies” I do build them on my own through comc, Ebay and sometimes card shows. Occasionally if the funds are there I grab some some lower end rookies and flip them to help fund my team set collection. Even that is starting to become less lucrative with the EBay and PayPal fees. True trading (commons) is done unless you know a few people who do rip wax (and not the big hit wax). Keep up the great work on the pod. It’s truly a great insightful show and nice to know that there are still some set builders out there.

  2. Great Show again, a lot of conversation pieces!
I remember when it was an unwritten rule, kind of like sports code, where you never wore a jersey to a game, that couldn’t be tied back to one of the teams playing, you’d be an outcast… Still love you Tim!
Now a days, people wear anything to games…

I don’t know if it’s an urban thing or not… but here in the Toronto area, there are actually kickball leagues for adults! I noticed them a couple of years ago. Jam sports runs one of the leagues… So keep playing Soccer Clemente! Play until no team wants you!!
Sal, same league has floor hockey! the sad thing though… is that even though it’s supposed to be no contact, some people play as if it’s the Stanley Cup finals… which is kind of sad for those who just want to exercise in a social setting and have no real prior experience in the sport.

Wish you guys were at the Spring Expo, would’ve been nice to meet you… awaiting the next episode!!
    Andre…

    1. Totally agree about the “unwritten rule”. However using the reverse transitive application of that theory as well as a hybrid version of the Kevin Bacon Game, I wore my Crosby first Winter Classic jersey (the baby blue), which was tribute to the one he wore in an outdoor game, whereby the Penguins later played an outdoor game against both Chicago and Philadelphia in the Stadium Series, thereby making that completely not convoluted connection. My wife had on her Matt Murray jersey and he played for the St. Albert Flyers in the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League during his junior years, therefore he was at one time, a Flyer.
