2005-06 Ice is a sinkhole. For those of us who were there, we know that any given box has maybe $30 of cards in it. But the unsuspecting don’t know that. I kind of wish I’d stashed boxes at the time when they were steeply discounted, although I’d feel guilty selling them at these inflated prices.
I know what you mean. About 7 years ago I picked up a 2005-06 Beehive box for $50. I did get a 5″x7″ Crosby, and overall it was a fun break:
