2023-24 Trilogy Hockey Cards Box Break

After taking a hiatus in 2021-22, Upper Deck Trilogy returned for the 2022-23 season. Trilogy is back again for 2023-24, released in the middle of May. Since Trilogy is a late-season release, Upper Deck can include cards of Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard, who made his debut at the start of the season.

A box of 2023-24 Trilogy contains six packs. Each pack has four cards. A box costs around $160. So, that’s about $27 per pack – or $6.75 per card. You get two hits per box “on average,” according to the front of the box. Hits can be a jersey or patch card, or an autographed card, such as Trilogy’s popular “Signature Pucks” cards that have an autograph on a mini-puck that is embedded in the card.

Clemente’s Corner: Rookies You Should Collect Besides Connor Bedard

Say the word “rookie” and the name Connor Bedard instantly comes to mind. It’s a reflex. None of us can help.

While the Chicago Blackhawks center may very well be on his way to taking the Calder Trophy, there are other rookies – even sleeper ones – that may be worth gobbling up now given that the majority of people are so laser-focused on acquiring Bedard.

Players like Luke Hughes of the New Jersey Devils and Leo Carlsson of the Anaheim Ducks have lived up to the preseason hype, although both have been overshadowed by Bedard mania. Both Hughes and Carlsson remain in the mix – although they are longshots – to capture the Calder.
